[Grand Menace]

Hi, I've been having this problem since I bought the founders pack and have just figured maybe it was due to beta but my friend got the game and they work for him.

Every time I click on the links that are in the patcher, such as the promotions and latest news, I get "Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately. (next line) Class not registered."

When I try to click the links in the game they do nothing. No error or anything just dead.

A few things I have noticed is I have a "windows protective sheild" over the MWO icon on my desktop. Not sure if that makes a difference.

I'm running Windows 8 64 with up to date patches.
I have also recently done a clean install to try and see if maybe it was an early build of MWO that I have continually just patched as the game came out.. didn't make a difference
