Takes too many hours to get new mechs with c-bills. Makes me want to quit playing.

Fair enough but I'd recommend buying premium time as your solution. Most games like call of duty give you 20 hours gameplay for $50 so 30 days premium time is relatively good value at $15.

It isn't your fault, but hat post is the worst thing I could hear right now. I bought the Misery for $30 to play a build I made on Smurfy, and this patch borked the build when it nerfed the gauss rifle. I lost $30 to a switch and bait. I am pretty mad.

The game is still in beta and they've quadrupled their investment.

I recently spent ~10k GXP to unlock efficiencies on a mech I was going to sell rather then spend the CB on upgrading it, because the CB were more valuable.

I can barely afford the mechs themselves, much less modules that cost as much an entire mech. Combined with the high need for CB for everything, that makes GXP pretty much worthless to me. Since PGI wants to charge money for XP conversions, I can only assume that wasn't their intent.

1Mill is a bit high an estimate, it was about that when before 12 man drops, I've just done my stats and its aound 800k now for me assuming matches run the average time (8 mins fron MWO stats) and I use my average cbill eranings. I can push that to about 1 Million if i drop out of the game after I die (assming I do) and launch another one straight away. Thats not counting me using a Hero or Champion mech which, while I own one of each, I dont do often. Also no premimum time either. Add both of those to the mix and you could do 1.3Mill or 1.5 Mill

Just for ref I now have had 19 mechs since I started playing (Mastered Fracts, Jenners, Catapults, Victors, Hunchbacks, Ravens + another random I bought and sold), I currently own 8 of those and the others were sold stripped so about 15% of what I paid. Of those I bought my Murimets and a Sarah Jenner with real money. the rest were all cbill buys, upgraded to DHS and edno + fully kitted out. The only thing is I have about 6 engines I share between them.

CBills are not that much of a big deal, I can get DHS for a mech in an hour or two at most.

CBills are way too slow.

It has been over a month since I purchased my last robot. I used to be able to do one every other week.

Variety is the spice of life. By killing this, you are killing the main reason to play this game.

PGI reads this as: Reduce earnings, increase costs!

Honestly, I don't think the prices are the problems, it's the fun factor.

Ideally you should look forward to the process of pew pewing in big stompy battlemechs, and the rest is all gravy.

The fact that it's become all about seeking something ELSE which should theoretically be fun, is... not a very good sign.

Solution: reintroduce knockdown, instantly solving all problems.

Currently the best way to earn your C-Bills is to continue using your Misery, albeit change out the main gun for something a little more quick-fire friendly.

Yes, it sucks that you can no longer pair the Gauss with any PPCs or Large Lasers as they are desynced.

But given the posts stating the earnings are about where they want it, I don't think it will change soon enough. More than likely waiting for Community Warfare to roll out and then re-evaluate earnings.

If I could gift you a mech to help, I would. Just too much is being held back for the UI 2.0 and Community Warfare.

Hang in there!

Problems is lack of info & tools to spend those c-bills smartly.
Vote here for better liberal mechlab!
