Greetings everyone!

I am, Minoxen of youtube.com/minoxen and I am here today creating this listing to establish a list of interested parties that would like to participate in future machinima style films to be featured on my youtube channel. Sadly there will be no payment for your time, other than a place in the credits and my great appreciation for your participation.

I have several projects under development currently and just had a failed event due to lack of "warm bodies", we had 18 folks ready and willing, but with the new 12v12 requirement this has become a much larger challenge to get these made.

To those who are unfamiliar with myself I was able to get one machinima recorded before 12v12 hit and this is the end product with special thanks to the Aces Wild.



If you are seriously interested in being involved with these projects and would be willing to donate as much as 2 hours of your time on filming dates then please either PM me here on the forums with your email address or email minoxencommentaries@gmail.com

Once you have been added to the contact list you will receive updates on the projects as well as preliminary scripts, roles, filming dates, and teamspeak information. I generally try to do as much of the voices as possible to keep logistics simple, but there may also be some opportunity for your voice to be featured as a character as well, but what we need most of all is willing and active people!

Koniving and I have both been actively trying to get things like this done for months now. I myself have an entire ten episode 'season' written out and ready to go.

I would say we should combine our forces (and we should), but personally I don't think any of this is going to matter much until private matches might/will be up. Trying to get 24 folks to not only try to sync-drop, but also repeatedly drop (to get the right map for instance), and then essentially stand around while you film is next to impossible... EDIT: can be very difficult and chaotic, especially when 1 or 2 random players have to leave, and the rest of the group starts slowly dropping out (since you can no longer drop).

I won't be 'that guy' and post my vids on this thread, but they're in the first post of my thread, and you should be able to tell from the 'Daft Punks' video that we were hurried, and had to run with what we had. It was shot with a group of 4 (including myself working the camera), and was actually done hurry-up-quick style over three different drops, in fact cut scenes in Forest Colony are filmed on different sides of the map, and other scenes are obviously on an entirely different map/drop altogether...

Wait... What was I rambling about? Oh, yeah!

*Ahem* I think you got very lucky with your first video (which is great btw). I would love to help, but I will tell you from experience: This is a headache.

Also, Koniving and I had considered 'sharing' drops, we would essentially all drop at the same time with our separate groups, and we film our scenes for our individual projects across different areas of the maps.

I wrote my scripts generally with no more than 12 mechs total in view to compensate for 'cameramechs', but most have only 2-6 in any given shot/scene, so this may be an option for you/us (script dependent of course).

Thanks to everyone who has responded so far! I'll be sending out an email by likely either Sunday or Monday detailing the first project and we'll get a date for filming scheduled!

Minoxen, sent you an invite on google drive for the scripts I wrote to see if you and I are on the same page or not. I'm sorry if my message above sounded condescending as it wasn't my intent. I was trying to convey that I know how it feels to try to 'herd cats' er- mechs... I would also like to help on your project, so please send any messages back to that email that the invite was sent on. You should know however, that I'm in Germany, so the time difference and my crazy work schedule may not be ideal, then again it might be just fine. Keep me posted.

Yes certainly it is still open. I've been busy with other projects and editing but I am always adding puppeteers to the email list. Once things calm down abit I'll be scheduling a film date. Thanks for the interest Yammato, please PM or email me your email address and I'll add you to the list!
