If you've ever played StarSiege in multiplayer, you'll understand the heavy importance of having the fast snap of instant throttle mode (or, throttle decay). I'd like to not have to turn to macros in order to use throttle decay in conjunction with normal throttle mode, or the numpad. I'd also like to avoid carpal tunnel.

So, my request is a simple one: Add a button/keybind for use in battle where we may instantaneously swap between the normal throttle mode and throttle decay mode.

I also request a button/keybind that instantaneously swaps forward and reverse throttle. This is called a "throttle switch". It can be used on fast mechs to bait shots and take tighter turns in a snap.

I vote no. We don't need something like that. Just use W S and X, Numpad 1-0, Numpad + -, Numpad period, Analog Throttle Joy Slider. Also, does "Invert throttle" and "Full stop" mean anything to you?

There, everything you need. Adding more throttle buttons will not make the game better. You just have to deal with it.

Contrary to Typhoon Storm 2142 who seems to be quite arrogant today, I don't think it's useless and that you just have to deal with it.

It's a quick feature that a lot of players (old and new) would enjoy and adds flexibility to the current control scheme. I vote yes, even if I would probably not use it much because most of the time, I use my arms separately from my torso and use SHIFT to lock them before an alpha strike for example. It does take more coordination however.

PS. You should create a Poll so we can actually vote and track how much people would like this, who doesn't care and who plain don't want it.
