I agree somewhat. But your grammar is god awful. It will be hard for people to take you seriously if you can't even form a proper sentence.

Just a thought there Ramrod, may not be an English as a first language speaker since there is no location listed.

First, OP: I agree somewhat. I would rather PGI adopt Blizzard's approach and just say 'When it's done' rather than 'No no, of all the other deadlines we set ourselves and blew through, THIS one we keep'. But, beta is beta I guess. I reckon PGIGP should make best use of that excuse while they still can.
Second, Ramrod: Honestly, if you can make out what the OP is trying to say, don't be a {Richard Cameron} and call them out on grammar. Unless you know how old they are/what their education level is, whether or not they're dyslexic, or what their mother tongue is, pipe the **** down.

The problem is, many players used "beta" as an excuse for every single bug or balance problem this game had:
- "OMG, my mouse went out of window bounds and I can't shoot without auto-alttabbing
"
- "Hey dude, it's beta, get over it!"
Frankly, I haven't really seen PGI themselves actively use it as an excuse, though.
My opinion is: game is no longer in "beta" state as soon as you start charging money for it. (Now, before someone chimes in with "they don't require you to pay money": that's a valid but irrelevant point, because it's the business model for the "final release" as well). So, in my opinion, "beta" actually ended a long long way ago.
Anyways, back on topic: the most ironic part is that the game is actually in the same (some would call it disastrous) state it was half a year ago, - so I'm very eager to see what will be the new excuse for all the "it's beta!" proponents after they remove this badge.
Arnold, on the "when it's done" approach: there are multiple problems here.
Firstly, I don't really think it will ever be "done": PGI are always trying to implement new features (which is mostly good), but it also indicates that there was no (or VERY basic) actual design document for the game, - meaning that new features are discussed and designed "on the go", without clear idea what is the "end point". The "out of the blue" release date (without any major features being released at the time) also supports this theory.
Secondly, if I'm wrong and there IS a document describing the "final state" of the game, it's the absolutely lackluster speed of development, implementation and polishing. I won't even go into the "quality" aspect of all this, there are enough "whine" threads out there already.
I'm sorry for my English, it's not native for me.
