Really great to see in-game tutorials! Great job! I did have a couple of suggestions for improvement: 1. Because throttle decay is locked, when you reach a waypoint the messages can accidentally be skipped because you are pressing a key when the message appears, making it instantly disappear without time to read. 2. Not all players use a keyboard with a number pad (I use a tenkeyless) or may be playing on a laptop with no number pad. You can get stuck in the last part of the tutorial (throttle presets) if you are in this situation. Definitely could be discouraging for a first time player in a tutorial. Otherwise, I was really impressed with the flow of the tutorial, I think this will help new players tremendously!

Agreed on the Throttle presets. Also, perhaps an Advanced tutorial would be in order? Like, showing them gameplay sans armlock with 1pv only.

Tutorial is great! But kindve sad the tutorial is more refined than the actual gamemodes.

Cross posted from patch feedback...

I think it's a excellent start.

My only real suggestion would be to have a "victory screen" pop up once all tutorial objectives have been completed.

I also think it would be nice if you could set your default preferences 3rd vs 1st person, throttle decay on or off from with the tutorial. Have players experiment with both then select the one they prefer.[/color]

Another thing that I would do is steal a page from War-Thunder and include an Exp or small MC reward (just enough for a single color or cockpit item) for completing the tutorial as a way to encourage people to go through the training rather than trying to dive right in.

Keep up the good work.

I dunno about making people read. This is 2013 - nobody reads! (I do) I wouldn't at all mind lending my voice to narration of the tutorials. I spend plenty of time in teamspeak servers adopting noobs anyways. In fact, it might actually be fun! I've done voices for lots of student animation films... I can do english, and if I have a few drinks, scottish ;)

Original Poster had the same problem I did. Since I had a Joystick setup, it was really easy to accidentally skip all the detailed information. Information I see as critically helpful.

[1] Instead of a press any key to continue.

make it like Press [x] To continue, that way the player is always stopped.

[2] Also there needs to be a reason for starting players, playing the tutorial.
Like a 1 time 1million Cbill Bonus. That way people will actually, feel like it isn't a waste of time.

[3] The Tutorial also needs to be Easier to find. Right now it's hidden in the options.

Other than that it gave a lot of helpful information.
