wow, magnesium is pretty inexpensive.

We put the blue laser on high for a second to try and get more light reflection and it started melting the atlas almost instantly. got some smoke pyro there. :rolleyes: unfortunately we didn't take a picture. Vaporized plastic not good to sniff.

Haha ouch, that's pretty powerful. Ok if the laser is melting it then I wouldn't do anything I just suggested. But yeh magnesium is pretty good, you can get tape rolls that wind out as they burn so they act like a candle.

Gotta love that melted acrylic smell.
