Its just halarious how people complain that PPC and ERPPC are underpowered now

3 month ago that was the only weapon worth using . 40 damage alpha strikes that acted like all range dual AC20 with infinite ammo .

It was redicilous !

It got to a point where 10 out of 12 people were boating ppc.

Let me explain something

ER Large Laser does 7 damage at 810 meters . That 7 damage is further destributed between
3-4 limbs because you not gona hold it still at that range . As a result you doing 2 damage on center torso .

My 260.000exp Stalker ER/Large Laser boater never killed **** at long distance .


UAC5 also is not effective at 800 meters . At that range proejctiles will not hit the same spot twice unless someone is kind enough to stay in place . Also UACS effective range is only 600-800meters which makes it a waste of ammo to shoot over 1000 meters .


ER PPC still does it job of poking and hiding behind the cover .

As alternative you can still mount 2 PPC to act as better version of AC20 for only 17 heat .

You feel like PPC and ER PPC dosen't work well at close range ? DUH

You want one weapon to do everthing ?

I agree. PPC/ERPPC is perfect now. 10 heat for 10 damage on the normal PPC is STILL incredibly generous and powerful.

Ehh we will see. I did hate the long range meta and i do agree that 10 and 15 are good heat values, but do we really still need ghost heat? At 15 heat loading anymore than 2 ERPPCs becomes more of a liabliltiy than an advantage for combat. I agree that it needs to stay around or people would just boat ER large lasers (they already are) but I think it can be removed from the PPCs as they are hot enough as is

(What this really says is that I want my 3ERPPC awesome to be usable again... I loved that mech )

the fact is 3 ppc alpha is a little too strong . Iv encountered that problem many times

however i don't completly agree on alpha nerf for all weapons

also you can't boat over 3 er lasers , you gona die in close range . Take it from the guy who ahs 500.000 xp using laser boaters

This would only be true due to convergence. 30 damage to any one location is a solid hit by any measure. An Awesome could Alpha several times before having to fire only two PPCs on TT. It was not OP in the slightest.
