The weight for those BattleArmors has to be accounted for before-hand, which means you're losing tonnage for other things like armor or weapons.

Well, with all this negative feedback to this suggestion, we can expect PGI to implement this in a hotfix ASAP.

the game is balanced around the current limitations. if we give every mech an additional 2.5% of free weight, you might off set the progress they have made; be it slow a$$ progress. snail says "left him in the dust"

Deffinitely yes... It can only be implemented with UI 3.0 or more probably UI 4.0 though.

Its on the same planning board as Magma Cannons, Instand death rays, useful cockpit screens, a live feed of Fox news for every cockpit, reverse beepers for Assault mechs and the Urbanmech.
