Major CW features still look like they are a ways off. I keep seeing longtime players say "I'm getting bored and just taking a break." People may have been blowing up over 3PV but I think the bigger problem is that we are still just matching up randomly. New mechs are great, but they are starting to feel like just a money grab, especially with the new Hero>MC Only>C-Bill release strategy.
First, release the most basic CW component that allows us to create our units in the game.
Second, allow us to create private matches with other units. These don't have to offer rewards like Cbills or XP. These can be rewards for random matches and CW matches (when they get here). This will allow the private leagues to keep your players entertained while features are in development.
I keep seeing formerly dedicated MW players drop and move on to something else. New mechs are adding a diminishing amount of variety as configurations start to overlap. This game needs some sort of CW, even if the community has to provide it.

New game modes!
Tag! - Large 160 LRM in the middle everyone is armed only with tags. The longer you have a tag on you the more missiles come your way, OUTRAGEOUS!
Frustration! - 12v1 the twelve are armed with only an AC2 vs one spider. Game takes on average three hours as Spider is almost unhittable!
Hats, hats, hats! - All mechs have fancy hats! Shoot hats off to disable the mech while it bends over to pick it up! As an added bonus hats are now available in store for $7.50! Buy the "Towering Pillar of Hats" to increase the difficulty and look good doing it!
So much wasted potential in MWO we need some new modes I gave you three new ones for free!

I mean really dude, this has been the way it is for 6 months now, way past "stopgap" time.
No gap here man, just a GIANT GAPING CHASM, between player expectations and PGI's implementation of MWO, working as intended.
