This idea occured to me while driving home from school, I think it would be interesting if mech's armor figures had a visual representation. So for instance an Atlas with full armor on the left arm would look slightly (key word) larger than that of an Atlas with no or half armor on the left arm. Could even have a mech look bare bones-ish with no armor. Along with this, i would also like to bring up the "old school" alternate mech health read outs, I personally didn't use them, however I know alot ofpeople that liked them. Along with this I would like to see custom mech outlines in the health read out. instead of the same shape for all mechs. just some thoughts to add a minor amount of visual depth.

That would be almost like a nerf to armor, cause w/o armor you would then be harder to hit.

The point of me saying it would be slight might not have been made strong enough. I do not want even a 1% decrease as this would be too much. And while you may argue that this would make mechs harder to hit, I would also like to point out it would also display to more astute pilots weak areas on an enemy. Thus revealing a weakness before firing.
