I have wanted to several times.

Lack of funds being the biggest thing stopping me.
That game is EXPENSIVE.

So I have consoled myself by playing the videogames - I highly recommend the Dawn of War games if you have not already started them (and if you have started Last Stand, let me know so we can arrange some teaming up!

It's far more likely I'll just stick with Flames of War and BattleTech.

I want to make my own game with repurposed WWII and BattleTech minis anyway.

Not the whole thing, just the overpriced models. Otherwise I find Warhammer 40k very appealing. I especially love the Imperial tanks that are supposed to be tens of thousands of years ahead of us in technology but look like they're from World War I.






You would think that in 40,000 years we would have tanks that aren't taller than houses with exposed treads with flat armor and sponsoon guns. But you know what, Empire, you keep building whatever looks cool.
