But do we have enough ammo to repel the moose-riding, hockey stick wielding Canadian Cavalry?

I don't know about YOU, but yes, yes I do. And I've got my reloading presses and a stockpile of components in case I need more.

I live in a pseudo-socialist state where all gun owners are viewed as aspiring mass-murderers.

Backround checks? I agree with that.
Safety courses? If you're buying a gun for the first time, yeah, they ought to be mandatory.
But limiting the number of rounds you can put in a gun doesn't make a difference in a mass shooting type situation, because all of the victims are likely unarmed, and reloading a gun isn't that hard or time consuming. Especially if you come prepared with extra ammo or guns. Which every mass shooter so far always has.
Ffs, in 2010 in the UK a madman went and killed 12 people and wounded quite a few more with a double barrel shotgun and a .22 rifle, neither of which are anything like the "assault weapons" clueless activists want to ban.
But being an insane, gun-worshiping, delusional American with a tiny sausage (according to some foreigners), that's just my opinion.

"Look, I did stuff! it keeps the children safe! vote for me!"
Or if you want to look at it from a darker perspective, the government wants to take our guns so they can walk all over us.
Kind of like they do already.

Notice the design used by the ancients. Hewn from rock and set solidly in the ground, this post was built to last. Even now, after all other structures have decayed and no longer have any detectable presence, this Last Post remains, resolute, indomitable, standing for all to see and daring the ravages of time to try their best to prevail against it.
Ladies and Gentlemen of the thread, I give you, The Last Post!
