The map looks great, but the fact that you can walk on lava lakes and flows and semi-hardened lava with a 30+ tons 'Mech without sinking or even slowing down is ridiculous at best.

The map has a ton of places where you can see the ground is nothing more than half solidified lava. There's a crust with red hot lave underneath glowing through the cracks, but yet when you walk on it, nothing special happens except a slight heat increase. If you fall in the lava pit in the middle, you don't sink, you stay afloat and can walk on it, even though it should be fluid. You merely overheat and take damage.

There are even some volcano craters full of molten lava that you don't even heat on (or barely).

I'm sure something could be done to make the lava semi fluid so you actually sink and slowdown considerably as you sink deeper. The hotter the lava, the more fluid it should be. Staying idle in molten lava for more than a second should start causing damage and slow you down the more you sink in it.

Lastly, falling in the big lava lake in the middle should not be survivable unless you have jump jets and enough fuel to jump on a solidified part. I just find it totally ridiculous that a 100 ton 'Mech can fall in there and be able to simply "walk out"... doesn't make any sense.

like knocking down trees or destructible buildings and so on.

Logical and immersive concept, ergo PGi will never do it

I want to see lava do some serious damage and not just heat. Also water should slow you down... make water a refuge against lights for the assults but puts them in the open for river city and other maps
