I am tired of going into a game and trying to work with random dudes that don't know how to work together as a TEAM. I am a gamer that has been playing for years and enjoy this game but love to win and hate to lose. I know that some just don't care but please respect the true gamer in me that's wants to win and try not only for me but for your teammates as well. I don't understand why everyone in the new map Terra Therma goes right to theta to die or screw over the team. I mean today I had a guy say everyone go eps. I said some come to kappa with me. One was willing to stick with me and run to Kappa and capture it. After I capped Kappa I look at the list to see what we all needed and I look eps is owned by other team. as a fact everything else including our base Gamma was owned by the other team. My 10 other teammates were in theta dying left and right. So here are some team work quotes from some famous people I think some of my fellow MechWarrior's need to be reminded of. “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much”
Helen Keller “If two men on the same job agree all the time, then one is useless. If they disagree all the time, both are useless.”
Darryl F. Zanuck “TEAMWORK: A few harmless flakes working together can unleash an avalanche of destruction.”
Justin Sewell Now I am sure some of you will have nasty comments to post to what is my opinion on people not understanding what team work is now a days compared to 19 years ago in MPBT. I do play with friends when they are on But always looking for new real MechWarrior to play with if your one of them like me looking to win friend me my tag is Mad Skull.

if i might make a suggestion? join one of the many units in this game, In the Aces Wild (where i call home) we use teamspeak and coordinate together on drops.

Yeah, this is truly the way to go.
If you want the most of the teamplay go for a RHOD team.
Most merc corps will boost your gameplay experience significantly.

1. I was in that Terra Therma drop today with you in the same team.
2. I'm not sure if someone said everyone epsi but rather just pointed out that we would go epsi. This does not mean everyone has to go epsi. In general, it's good that someone gives some pointer in the beginning so that people don't scatter like scared chickens.
3. We graced the Theta western entrance but the center was already taken as feared.
4. We continued epsi where some of our faster ones were already.
5. A good brawl ensued and we were wiped out by the enemy team.
6. You started bitching in team chat about bad teamplay.

So the take home messages for you: 1. Sometimes the other team just overpowers the other one without there being any clear reason or error on the team's part. 2. The fact that the team does not do what you want is not an indication of bad teamplay.

Exactly this ^ .Sometimes it's not bad teamplay, but just being outplayed or the mech chassis on both teams being heavily stacked to favour one team over the other.

except when your 4 man team drops with totally non threatening teammates, that lemming in one by one. I have to be really careful what words I use, for the S.S.(mod squad) will come down on my posts with the wrath of god they believe they carry. They want you to think that you can pay2win but you will only pay. LOLOLOLOLOL

Ok not going to argue that not what this post was put here for but I have the video and will upload it to my youtube acct so those who want to see exactly what happen can. my first post is exactly what happen someone said everyone go to eps. NOONE went eps everyone went Theta and almost everyone died at theta. There was no team work involved because during this I was calling for more help over at kappa so not everyone would of died over at eps/theta. NO ONE REPLIED BUT ONE. The one that was with me (AKA YUMMY). So are you sure that I was in the same game as you because how I said it happened is the truth everyone but me and yummy died leaving me and him to fend off 11 players because only one died from the other team.

And for the record Team work is working together including communication something that only two of us on my team had. So if you were in that game I did not check yet you typed nothing in the box to help out no callouts hell not even sorry mad wont make it or nothing. But like I said first thing in team work has to be communication and thanks to the other people posting about where I can find player who know how to play and win as a team I will be checking that out.

Honest question, how many online games have you played? It's logical as well as a known fact that PUGs wil generally lack cohension and team work. There will be some games that the team works well together but this is rare in itself.

Given it's a known fact, just don't get too upset about it. It's a game. Just join a group or get onto one of the public TS/C3 channels.

Dude, trying to tell the PUG players what to do is like trying to herd cats. They won't listen, and will do the exact opposite of what you tell them to. Join up with a merc corp, its the only way to get that teamplay experience you want.

I have actually herded some cats before, admittedly, they took some training.

I tried to take the commander job on the game last night and the results were what you would expect. Nobody followed the objectives you put up, and I tried it for several games, like 6-8 and the result was always the same. When people solo queue they just dont care about teamwork. They do what they want.

When you PUG, you gotta remember, you don't have friends there, and most will act like moths, attracted to anything red, the best thing you can do is SUPPORT your team since they won't support you, look at where they are, and flank for them, (since they might be standing around in a bunch) or go cap to draw some heat off them, just remember to run back to the herd if things get icky...
while you can't control pugs, you can guide them, draw an enemy to them if you can, to give them something to shoot at, to sate their bloodlust :) and remember: you're playing against other people in other countries, there's no garuentee that people in your game speak the same language, or can even understand what you're saying... so back off when people don't listen to you on chat, and if you want teamwork, go join a merc unit, there's plenty around recruiting on the forums...
