This game is going to get SHREDDED in the press with it's non existent game play. Kill enemy or stand in enemy glow box are you options. No repair and reload, no collisions, no clan warfare, dicey weapon balancing, hackers, aimbotters, macro users for ballistics. Yikes! Not good at all. Opinions?

Launch is IGP motivated, PGI is riding the wave, perhaps the game will survive the ill fated launch ORION.

Collisions would be nice.... clan warefare? I've been here since January 2013 and I've not seen once bit of info on it :huh: HAH.

So basically any fps ever? They all boil down to shot the other guy on different maps.

Launch is just a line in the sand. If the entire gaming media slate the game as being unfit for release they will all be on an island, everything is working as intended and there are more people playing glowingboxcapper online than ever.
P.S. Buy more MC! Buy a Phoenix package! Got a Phoenix package? Buy Sabre for only $30 NOW, get mechs in December! Its a steal...

P.P.S We will get a new thing... there will be a new cash shop, apparently. Who'd of thought it?!?

pgi/igp is worse then my friends uncle and his uncle is in prison for a crime all the other prisoners want to kill him for.

How can you launch an unfinished game? Heck it's not even a started game. I am still dropping with members of House Liao, Marik & Kurita. All enemies of the state. I have not seen a single Clanner. SO how can they launch a game that doesn't even have the actual enemy in it yet?

repair and reload never worked to the benefit of the game, clans will do nothing but screw the balance, balancing has been getting better, lol at hackers and aimbotters, macros don't do anything you can't do normally

the game shouldn't launch today but your reasons why are laughable

I hope this patch is MASSIVE and collision is put back in along with surprise mechs and new weapons. but deep down I know this is not going to happen.

Joe, the game is clearly ready for launch. Despite initial concerns that people would not pony up for new gundams if there was no meta to speak of, it turns out that middle-aged whales really will buy anything, no matter how many times you slap them in the face. So we get threepeeveegate followed by apologygate and there are still 4 cash-only Protectors in every match.

So put yourself in their shoes. You have a choice: a) invest in making a better free game and make money from people buying imaginary robots, or :) Don't bother and they will buy the robots anyway. Remember, you are a struggling new developer with too much work to do just treading water, and your publisher needs money for the pokemon card mech game... which do you do?

btw, the ppl sayin R&R is not a good 'idea' are ******* stupid. let me explain. if R&R was balanced, it'd be a great way to limit ******* from using good weps to tryhard and artificially inflate their metaballs for a patch or two. a good R&R would equal limited prevalence of powerful mechs/weps, be a money/time sink [shallow end game retention, yes, but tis something] as well as risk vs reward [suck and you're actually losing money over time gg]

In case you missed the community warfare 3pv patch pgi revealed themselves as the enemy that their core customers care not for these problems. If you think the game is unfinished then you are on an island my friend. You need to get in touch with the silent majority of people playing this game. That majority like their games simple and their mechanics unpredictable.You my friend are on the lunatic fringe. I dismiss you.

To be honest Joe I'm not even being sarcastic. Surely we are at the point now where it it pretty clear what is going on. Money goes in, money is used to make things to sell us, 'promises' are made, money goes in, 'promises' don't pan out, money is used to make things to sell us... repeat until people stop buying things. As people are still buying new things it is working as intended ™.

Got problem with macro? Spend some time learn more about it, and not all hackers are bad.

The thing is, would people cough up real money for heavies and assaults if R+R made those mechs costly to run or even run at a loss? Sure, some people would, but people who are not very good would probably think twice. I personally think (tinfoil hat engaged) that R+R never came back because it would have a negative effect on MC sales. I obviously could be wrong, woke up in a cynical launchday mood today.

I prefer my game to be finished and polished when it is done. Launch at this stage is laughable.
