Anyone else coming up against this? As I type this... if I wanted to create a new paragraph, I am unable to, as my 'Enter' key will not allow for text or this cursor to leave this line of text. Is this normal, or have I accidently clicked on something I shouldn't have? Thanking you in advance.

I
find
that
the
site
works
better
in
Chrome
... and not at all in IE. Any chance you're using IE?

Yep, it works in better in Chrome, including the enter-key.
You can also toggle the editing mode in the upper left corner.

That is interesting that the forums would work better in Chrome. I also didn't know that you could toggle the editing mode. Learn two somethings new every day. Thanks, gang!

Man I am glad to see I am not the only one having this issue. Though I was going crazy.
PC, Win 7 home prem 64, an old stock usb keyboard. I do have Logitech mouse, with Logitech g13 running G-series key profiler in background.
ohh and running IE up to date.
Mann, didn't notice the toggle mode either. Enter works toggled, thx for that one! I feel human again lmao

Yay! I have my enter key back!
Though it is a little cumbersome to switch to use enter and then have to switch back to use other formatting tools such as emoticons
