mmkay at about 25 seconds in it shows a massive (16-20+) mechs pouring out of cauldron shooting at an enemy team off screen presumably, when are we getting 24v24 combat?

Around the end of 2014 and only if enough players pre-purchase it with 60$ packs.

Nah that was just coordinated filmography, 2 teams of 12 came storming down the hill shooting at nothing to simulate what this game could look like in the future. ![-_-](https://static.mwomercs.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/tongue.png)
A big lie/tease. With our current map sizes only Alpine and Terra would be large enough for 24 vs 24 !! o.O

I'm curious about the Atlas eye-glow. That was a very cool thing, rounding a corner and seeing the eyes... Then snipers started using the eyes as targets from 2km away and it had to go. I agree with the removal, just wish it could come back in some form -- maybe only draw the glow at < 100m distant? Where you'd see the atlas regardless of eye glow.
But it was gone, then it appears in this video. Things that make you go "hmmmm."

Never. It was a community created trailer, directed by SigmaLanceLeader, aka Celestial.
That shot was for cinematic purposes only. The Atlas Eye Glow used to be in the game. Back in Early CB -- this game's graphics used to be turned waaay the Hell up and we had a lot of pretty eye candy. PGI slowly disabled a lot of those features in favor of slightly improved universal frame rates. So, that clip was from a long time ago.
