This is an issue I have stuided in-game quite a bit, since I play a BJ-1 as my primary mech. I have experienced this bug from both viewpoints, and it is very, VERY obvious that the BJ's CT takes the vast majority of streaks, leaving side, arm and leg armor intact, even when sides are face towards the firer. Even from behind, SSRMs will whip around and mostly strike the CT, with only a tiny, rare amount hitting CTR.
This results in them dieing exponentially fast to anything with at least two SSRMs mounted, and needs to be fixed as a priority. I mean, seriously, Kintaros two-shot them.
Mediums have it bad enough without tonnage limits per lance, having too little acceleration speed, tiny engine limits and extreme fragility. If you want to fix the game, your focus needs to be on bringing down the weight of matches so they arent overwhelmed, and fixing stupid shortsighted glitches like this, that could have been easily dealt with and observed with even a cursory playtest.

Blackjack Ct Is A Ssrm Magnet.
