This is not a PGI registered domain, it's someone else trying to do something. Probably trying to get your MWO info.

I made it, I posted in the Old MS Gaming zone thread but I guess you guys didn't read it.

I have a thread in the fansite jumpship http://mwomercs.com/...lobby-solution/ if you are interested.

The lobby was released in February and I stopped working on it after I couldn't gain any attention for it. The site is not a phishing site. All passwords are stored as hashes using enterprise level hashing so have no fear. You do not need to use your MWO account information to use mwolobby either so use a throw away e-mail address if you want.

Mwolobby was made to recreate the Microsoft Gaming Zone atmosphere that I loved when I was a kid during the Mechwarrior 3 days. Game drops do not work but every other feature of the original zone software is functioning. If you are a C++ programmer who wants to make a 3rd party software that can macro the commands to sync drop and listen for the launch event from the lobby then game drops could be somewhat possible with the software. To go any further would require me to work directly with the developers which I do not forsee happening.

I'm currently working on a league that will be built-in to the lobby itself. With the release of private matches some time this year or early next year I think there will be a demand for a real time league and zone style lobby that works with it.

Mwolobby as it stands is a glorified chat lobby that looks and acts like the Microsoft Gaming Zone. It's built with node.js which allows me to host 5000-6000 concurrent users while only using limited server CPU and RAM. I do not think teamspeak servers are as inviting or friendly to players as the zone system was and I thnk there is a huge demand for something like this but spreading the word has been nearly impossible for me due to heavy moderation in February during launch and now the ultra fragmented forums that do not have a centralized discussion area.

If you guys still have questions please let me know and I will answer them as soon as possible.

For game launches I need a windows C++ programmer who can make a program that listens for the launch event from the server and simulates a launch click for the two team hosts on the MWO client. I would have to make a small change to the lobby by adding a 24 player limit with two teams and two designated team hosts.

I don't really play MWO anymore and I have stalled on finishing the league I was working on last month. But if a competent programmer wants to help out I will put the time in and make game drops work. If game launches were working I would be much more motivated to really finish polishing mwolobby to the point that it equals or beats the original zone software.

So far no programmer has approached me offerring help, If anyone knows a decent C++ programmer that would be willing to help please tell them to message me.
