Additional Weapon Loadouts

hya! i'm new to the game, but i have some suggestions for some new equipment (mostly weapons... ;) )

Gattling: slots2/tons4/range250/500/ammo1000perT/beter damage than the Machinegun

Plasma weapons: they are treated as energy weapons but require ammo (cells or smt.). plasma weapons would fire "gobs of energy" that have a small AoE, bigger CD than lasers, max range 800M (for the "best models"), usually around 500/600M, and do more damage. also plasma takes up more slots and tons and use the energy hardpoint to mount.

Laser Sword ( :ph34r: ): mechs with hands only. big damage, no heat (ammo, maybe...)
Shield ( :mellow: ): mechs with hands only. protects torso by providing additional armour to tear away (blocks line of sight, maybe...)

Flight jets: use more slots and tons than jump jets, but last longer. allow limited flight (the mouse wheel could be used for altitude ctrl.) as well as a 10-20% speed boost. location of the jets (legs/torso) could affect flight direction and turning.

well, that's it for now. if i think of any more items, i'll post it here...

Interesting thing about this game is technically all the weapons, technology, and the the rules are outlined by another older game. Any development questions typically revolve around how to implement them in such a way that it makes sense in a simulator, rather than the Turnbased Strategy model of the original Table top game.
