I'm a bit disappointed. It looks like they have a neat idea, but it doesn't feel fresh. Rather, it makes me think of Star Trek Online mish-mashed with Battlestar Ponderosa. It might be pretty neat, but I guess we'll have to wait and see. Would be nice if PGI's countdown timer wasn't counting up right now...
Edit: Huh, can't get the vid player to embed. Weird.
2nd Edit: Site's up now: http://transversegame.com/about/game

Also smaller 2nd wave pack of 12 mechs (3/3/3/3) apparently with mechs that we'll like. So~... wishlist?
Cougar
Shadowcat
Mad Dog (almost guaranteed. I mean, c'mon. who wouldn't call this as the next clam heavy?) or Hellbringer
Blood Asp
Although it'll probably end up being something like this...
Firemoth
Viper
Mad Dog or Hellbringer (Yay!)
Gargoyle
...and "mechs we like" means 3 Mad Dog variants we like. Prime, A, and D maybe? Maybe they'll add the HAG Rifles for the E or F variants but that's unlikely. Maybe heavy lasers? They're running out of weapons to balance.

Cool beans! Your wishlist is pretty much the same as mine!

Anyone else notice the ships were basically a straight rip-off of Bungie's Sabres from Halo: Reach?
...Or that it's essentially MWO in space? Our ships can spin in place while moving forward...sounds like a torso twist mechanic!
Still, the concept is neat. I would love to play it, however, my experiences in MWO have left feeling a little empty. While I think MWO has a shot, I'm doubtful that AUTE will accrue the necessary funds for production. As such, I'm not contributing to it myself.
...But if it does make it through development, look for me in-game!

You just use RCS thrusters to spin the ships however you want or keep them on course and the main engine provides the substantial thrust.
