Now that the Gauss has has its mechanic installed could you please make the audible ready indicator about 200% louder or like missiles make the targeting reticle go red or spin or something.
Its fine when at extreme range but once you get fired upon you cant hear the indicator over the combat noise and im not usually looking off to the side of the reticle to see the little green light for when the next shot is ready.
So many times i have missed a kill shot because I have missed the window in the mechanic.
Cheers

Also, the dps of the gauss was nerfed in to the ground -- because the recycle time wasn't changed. Charge up time + time to aim + recycle time = 5+ secs. 15 dmg / 5+ = less than 3 dps.
Another ninja nerf to the gauss!

Not to mention the range, Gauss Rifle was designed to counter or at least compete with LRM but in ths game has only 1/2 the range, yea you can hit but not with any damage that would scare any LRM boat. Damage should be full at at least 880m like the ERPPC or at 1000m like the LRM now that it has the extra time mechanic. If you want to make the gauss a sniper weapon give it the range and damage to suit, sniping from 600m well its not really sniping.

Here it is. Look at the weapon groups and then on tiny green and yellow rectangles to the left from the crosshair.

Memorizing is a consequence of long exposure, like knowing the subway's map because you use if often enough not because you did it on propose. But it takes time and, until then, you can't make the maps and signs hard to see... or hear.
