This is the missing effect that would make this game wholly immersive. I want my cockpit to frost up in frozen city. I want it to get covered in soot on Terra Therma. I want cracks to appear as I take damage. If this is implemented, MWO will go one step further towards being the sim it was supposed to be.

Also steam/mist in caustic.

I didn't see any environment effects on the cockpit during my quick scan through of that

You're right, it's just damage.
