This can not be said enough, even though I know PGI never listens.

You either have to strip out the PUGS from the same matches as PreMades or you give everyone the option of in game VOICE CHAT!

At least that would even out the horrible in game chat window that makes this game just abysmal for even simple communications!

oh well..

It's not an issue of premades versus pugs so much as inexperienced players versus hardened veterans. Yes, the ability to be on voice comms is a notable advantage, but in the few times that I've run premades I haven't been on TS at all and we still steamrolled. It's more about just having competent players on your team. If you pug, then your 11 teammates might not always be competent. If you premade, you have the ability to guarantee that at least a few of your teammates will know what they're doing. It's an issue of unintentional (usually) "teamstacking."

But what about the pre-mades who despite voice chat play just as badly as pugs?

Like the pre-made with the guy who just monologues about his custody battle for the entire time, preventing co-operation and reducing over all efficiency by 10% due to inspiring spontaneous suicide attempts in his team mates.

err.. well, you should thank him, since he probably added more CONTENT to your games than PGI devs have in a year!

ELO is ELO is ELO regardless of whether it's a pre-made or straight pugs.

If running pre-mades makes you seriously better, then your ELO would be seriously better, and you would not get grouped with *pugs*.

Voice Coms *can* make a team better, but isn't a guarantee at all. I was on the coms for some causual premades and all they did was *chat* about stuff ... it was hard to even break in and tell somebody that they were about to be killed, let alone actually direct the lance.

End Story? You don't know what your talking about ...

Pre-made does not, in any way shape or form, automatically elevate skill level. Yes it can be for some, but not for all ... and even so, a *good* (re: High ELO) player will do very well regardless of whether they are on coms or not. So the suggestion that "all pre-mades" should be split out is pretty un-informed and completely wrong.

ELO is a better indicator of what will happen then whether 4 people drop at the same time. The issue with ELO is that it can't always be used leastwise somebody might not ever get a match.

4 man's are actually pretty common in my games... and they're never a problem for me.

Did you ever stop to think that BOTH teams have an equal chance of having a 4 man?

Nothing to see here but QQ, and I pug exclusively.
