I know this came up a while back, but there is a suggestion trying to pick up steam regarding hero mech paint jobs, such as the Firebrand. Here is the link if you would like to lend your support to it: http://mwomercs.com/...ost__p__3056880

I love how we are often imitated but never duplicated ;)

Now now... we don't want to imitate others LOL Besides... MWO isn't our only game ;) However, it is a nice form of flattery. Too bad in this case its a day late and a dollar short from the other source *grin*

Yeah, it looks like we are just about at 40 members now and still growing daily!
I'm looking forward to getting to know each and every one of the new recruits.

Ok, I saw a catapult firing LRMs. It looked to be firing them 1 at a time in a long stream. Is that possible? Or was I just seeing things?

Question #2. Looking at better screen capture software. Fraps or Action? Or is there a better one? I have the money to buy one, just need to know which is better before I buy one.

In answer to your 1st question... This.

http://mwo.smurfy-ne...e8ed14c7af0161d

Just continuously firing in chain fire mode. Good if they don't have AMS, if they do, burst fire all at the same time! ;)

Thanks CG. Looks like I will have to find some time to build that up and try it out.

I own a copy of Fraps, but I've not heard of Action. Fraps (or MWO depending on how you look at it) used to have a bug in it. The MWO client would always crash to the desktop if you didn't stop recording before you exited the match. I don't know if that is still the case.

Lately, however, I've been testing Overwolf (free with the Teamspeak client). Since the full version of Overwolf is free, I recommend you start with that. Unlike Fraps, it saves directly to a Windows Movie file format, which does appear to be compressed fairly well. I have not noticed how that affects my cpu usage in game.

With Fraps, I would have to transcode the videos into h.264 mpeg after the fact to get the filesizes down. Note, however, Overwolf can be annoying with its occasional popup menus that fly into your face when you least expect it.

I'm looking to build up a library of recorded matches for future KW videos.
I've got a new 2TB hard drive on order to hold them.

Joke for the page!

Two hunters are out in the woods when one of them collapses. He doesn't seem to be breathing and his eyes are glazed. The other guy takes out his phone and calls the emergency services.

He gasps: "My friend is dead! What can I do?" The operator says: "Calm down, I can help. First, let's make sure he's dead." There is a silence, then the operator hears a gunshot.

Back on the phone, the guy says: "OK, now what?"

I've used Fraps quite a bit and like it for screenies and video and haven't tried using Overwolf yet so will have to look at that before I give an opinion on it.

@CG only in Canada... LOL
