Yesterday I bought a AS7-RS(C) and a Misery. The AS7-RS(C) is not listed in Pilot Lab with my other Atlases. The Misery is in Pilot Lab with my other Stalkers. What's up with that? What do I do?

If this is your first owned mech, go to "Mech lab". In it, there is a little tab on the lower left that you use to switch between "Trial mechs" and "Owned mechs". Under heading "Mech Inventory" right above the bottom left "Menu".

He's in the Pilot Lab, not Mech Lab. Also the problem was Champion vs Hero.

The RS C is not a separate chassis; it uses the same skill tree as the regular Atlas RS (if you already owned an RS the XP accrued would also apply to the RS C).
Hero mechs are separate chassis, champions are not.
