The first one is a miss, it hits the ground to the left of the Spider. Yep, seems like two solid hits.
The last one though seems to be a clean hit on the left torso that doesn't do any damage.

:shrug: it's still not just spiders, it's everything. 90% of the time no issues with them, but the other 10%... I was running around in my boar's head (turkey)(haha can't help but think about the lunch meat brand) and was fighting another boar's head (roast beef). My gauss hits to his CT weren't registering at all though his mech did the impact twitch thing, and his ac was hitting me, rocking my mech, but not lighting up my paper doll for about half the shots. Lasers were working fine. This game is getting darned frustrating. I think a big part of it is that the forums are straight up toxic - someone reads about a hit reg issue with a spider and the reticular activating system does the rest, elevating an occasional issue into a legend. I'm now going to make a sandwich with some boars head turkey I bought at Albertsons. Reticular activating system - thinking boars head MWO, see boars head brand meat... gotta buy it.

Dude grow up... there are several of you that just don't get the concept of troubleshooting and trying to find the actual cause/problem vs screaming for mommy to get the bandaid.

No, no, it looks legit. Two Gauss shots not registering. Now if only we didn't have an equally legit video showing the same thing happening to a Cataphract, it would perhaps mean the Spider is (especially) broken.

However, we do and it doesn't. It just means hit reg is borked across the board.

Yup. And one video is far from a statistically valid sample size. Someone's gotta keep feeding the thread to keep it going. :facepalm:
