Definitely less stable since "Launch" guess it must be all these new players joining us (no offence if you are new here good to see you!)
Oh while were talking disconnects, I would like to claim a medal for me and my lance that refused to disconnect after drawing Terra Hell EIGHT times in a row on "Any" mode . Also this is not off topic as we and our foes were largely the SAME TEAMS each hideous time... SO many disconnects in those matches after the third time but I doubt they were from hardware fails..

If you see the same people in a match joining and disconnecting seconds later, over and over again... it might not be technical, it might be them attempting to scam things. Stay watchful, and report any suspected abuse via Email to: support@mwomercs.com
At worse, they contact the person and find out it's a technical issue, and get the data they need to help solve it.
At best, we rid ourselves of exploiters.

Keep in mind this was the first weekend since "launch", and typically you'd see the heaviest traffic at that time. I seem to recall another game that faced server-side growing pains, glitches and outages soon after its launch due to unexpected demand and popularity...World of Warcraft...and yet it went on to be one of the most popular MMOs out there. People forgave and forgot and had fun once they gave Blizzard a chance to fix things...it was nice of Blizzard to credit everyone's account with free play time, though, for the times they couldn't play due to server issues...<hint, hint>!

I'd bet either Launch Traffic, or teh Internetz is borked somewhere.
Edit: A quick search suggests chunks of the internet are experiencing "issues".
Edit2: Happened again, ran repair tool, cleared it up. Apparently.

To add onto this... Last night I had a match where literally all but a couple of the enemy team disconnected while walking to our base, was very weird.

http://mwomercs.com/...-ping-problems/
Pings were starting to get horrible yesterday sometime around mid-day (euro-time). Didn't get discoed myself, but saw a lot of them while playing. Sometimes as many as 4 - 6 guys on a match.
My ping (and that of my squaddies from other Euro-countries) was almost triple of what we usually get and very unstable (also unusual for me). One of them had a pretty low ping (low 100s from Italy) but he was still warping all over the place.
Plus I couldn't group-drop with a squaddie, even though he could get online on his own just fine. His Mech wouldn't even appear in-game and then get locked into it and stay locked for around 5 minutes well after the match had ended.

Yeah.. from what I've read from other people who traced their routes, it seems that this is happening before our packets ever reach PGI. Would make sense, since even though pings were unusually high for a lot of players I saw, there were still plenty on who were getting 20s - 70s. If PGI and/or their ISP were the culprit, shouldn't we *all* be getting horrible pings, regardless of location and distance to the server?
Edit: Just did a visual trace using an online tool, and it seems I'm all over the place. Everything this side of the Atlantic is fine, but once I get to hop 7, Atlanta, GA, things go downhill. And according to this thing, my route is pretty weird as well. Instead of going through New York/Chicago/Toronto (where my tracert-test timed out), this time I'm getting routed through Arizona, then California, then back to Georgia, where the test timed out. Yet another visual traceroute tool showed my packet getting to Canada on the fifth hop, then going into the US, then back to Canada, then back into the US where it finally timed out.
Weird...

AGREED!
Sent a report up last night of a Notorious ( I have witnessed his stunt 4-5 times personally now) Disconnector. I shan't say what he does here lest I fall foul of the "revealing an exploit" clause in the T&C; But this ugly fellow has found a way to use Disconning to grief the opposing side if they lose. Thats bad show any way you cut it.
