Any news on that front? I seem to remember it was the goal to implement this eventually, but I haven't heard anything of it since a few single player tournaments ago.

They've only ever said that they want to do them... in the future.

When that is is any body's guess.

My guess is we will not see anything like that until after CW is implemented and some time has been spent on it's teething problems have been sorted/fleshed out some. Dec if we are lucky.

My only guess is that part of the tourney scoring may have to change a little like the C-bills nerf.

The other part of the problem is the script coding backend, that has to take account of the 12v12 change.

I think we will see it before then. They said they were only able to have single player tournaments at the time because of the U.I. And that lance or full group tournaments will come after U.I. 2.0 (this was back in apr/may i think when they stopped them). My guess would be that a way of testing the ui system we will see the first of multi-user group tournaments, most likely before cw as a way to cut teeth on the new system.

well lets just hope they do it that way before rolling out cw and finding huge flaws there.

They said its gonna be after lobby ability, and lobby is tied to ui2, and ui2 is tied to cw, but lobby probably wont be part of the first revision... so yea.
