I run a computer with an AMD CPU and I have avast so I currently can not play MWO...

Do any of you have a suggestion of what other free anti virus software I should look into so I can find a replacement for Avast so I can play MWO again..

You can simply disable the following function in Avast to play again:

Go to:
Settings -> Troubleshooting
Disable "Enable Hardware assisted virtualization"

MWO should start up normaly after that.

Oh. Last time I looked that option was not present in their free version. Looks like the last update added it back to it.
