They should have given it ballistics on both torsos. Its way too similar to the RS, just my opinion. Just switching the ballistic from one side to the other and adding a couple energy points doesnt warrant the cost to be honest. Although I am an Atlas fanatic and will probably waste the money just to get the chassis.

Like others have mentioned, if cost effectiveness is what youre looking for, buy a Misery it makes more sense.

It's genius if you think about it, have the Hero Atlas with ECM then nerf ECM a month later

Well i had the same idea - regarding tonnage limits:

the UAC 5 was about to get nerfed - and there was a Ilja and FireBrand sale

I'm not sure about other nerfs in the Past and the sales and Heromechs before (but i have the feeling that i have seen similar - Protector -> Gauss???

so lets hope the Hero Atlas will have ECM

I don't ever really post on the forums although I do lurk a lot. I am not a huge fan of the way PGI is implementing hero mechs. I am not going to go as far as to say they're P2W but I don't agree with selling variants of mechs with exclusive hardpoints. Ideally, PGI would release their hero mechs for MC and then 2-4 weeks later they'd release a stock c-bill version that only comes with the hardpoints.

We could use a 4-missile hardpoint one to complete the set

PEEF posted a suggestion about a Raven and Jenner hero, and then of course there's the 6 MG Spider. Imagine the damage it would do to the back of a Boar's Head

i would actually prefer the variant with the AC in it.... i think that 3 missile hps on such a tiny mech are really enough

I was just thinking that we have all combinations but the 4-missile one:
4 energy
3 energy/1 missile
2 energy/2 missile (x2)
1 energy/3 missile

Seems logical (or at least it satisfies my OCD) to have a sixth Commando be a 4-missile variant

you might need to get counseling for a severe case of commando-addiction. Sane people do NOT drive commandos!
