half of the time when AC hit me instead of that ear bleeding metal on metal sound, I simply hear nothing?

It bugs the {Scrap} out of me. Just throws me off balance because I can tell I am being hit, but it doesn't fully register to my mind because there is that lack of hearing yourself being under attack.

What mech are you piloting?
Does it happen in every mech for you?
Is it only when being shot by a specific weapon on a specific mech?

I've noticed this bug happening as well, more with LRM though.

Seems to me like it's all mechs and I have noticed it with missiles and ballistics. I hate it
