I don't mind the most recent change to the Gauss but for me there is one major problem with its implementation and that is knowing when i'm in the 'time period' where the gauss is 'fireable' and knowing when that window of time has stopped (especially when in close-combat).

I don't want to be looking to the bottom right of the screen to see the little coloured bars of that weapon, i like to look ahead all the time.

So: could there be some configuration options for the Gauss i can choose a 'wav' or sound that plays when the Guass is in a fireable state. And have a very clear 'ping' sound when that firing time window ends, so i can instinctively warm up the next shot.

Or even an option just to make the volume of the current Gauss activation sounds louder as they are completely lost to me when you you are getting hammered by ac rounds and missles etc crashing around you.

Bump.. would like either a light on the reticle so its obvious without looking down and/or a louder more obvious sound so you know when you can fire.
