Trying to load out my BJ-1 with double heatsinks but its not giving me that option. Anybody know why or how I can get them on my BJ-1?

Have you bought the DHS upgrade for the mech?

Not sure what the error could be, but if the issue is simply navigating the user interface, then I will post this picture.
At the top right of your mechlab there are the five buttons for weapons, ammo, engines, and the last is the upgrades one.
Below that are the four types of upgrade tabs. Click the heatsinks one. Then drag and drop double heat sinks onto your mech's upgrade column just to the left of the list.
It might be helpful to remove any and all weapons and ammo before you try to upgrade. There is the possibility that there just isn't room for double heat sinks, especially if you have both endo steel and ferro fiberous installed at the same time.

Well, if you didn't know about that I would highly suggest you also get endo steel for every mech you own, with perhaps the exception for assaults.
Endo Steel and Double Heat Sinks are the two upgrades that never let you down. They're sort of the go-to upgrades.
