Is it just me, or did the payout get a major nerf again. Played a lot of games tonight, and no matter how well I did, I never got north of 80k cbills. One that I can remember the stats from was 3 kills, 3 kill assists, 3 component destructions, and 418 damage. I got 80,150 Cbills.

Yeah it got a major nerf like a month ago or something
12v12 was a massive nerf and they made it even moreso

I used to be able to some matches kill 6/8 people but in 12v12 i've never done better than 7/12.

There simply isn't time to get - proportionately - as much kill victory sauce as it was before PLUS they are worth less per.

In 8v8 I could make over 300k with sub bonus some matches. Now it's about 150k with sub bonus in a really good match.

Lame stealth nerf to the best players sucks and happens all the time around here. They really need to stop putting in every single thing they can think of to make it easier on the bads because most of what they do to 'balance' things just takes the cool toys away that the best players liked.

LRM boating
PPC stacking
Terrain climbing nerf
Laser Boating
Jump Jets
Money nerf
blah
on and on forever

I noticed an oddity the other day, I somehow managed to get less for a win than I did for a loss despite similar performance (damage and kills). I get around 80k for the win and 140k for the loss. This was also post hotfix. I wonder if there are still a few outlying errors that need to be addressed.

They have slowed the economy down to a trickle. The lead designer has stated that we make too much money per game.

Now they have added this additional launch button within the game. I believe it is there SOLELY to slow down the economy even more.

Because it makes each game longer. The longer each game takes, the less games you can play each day. The less games you play, the less you earn.

That is what I noticed too. The game right after that I made $78k for a loss. I am making as much for a loss than for a win. Normally for a win with 3kills,3assists, 3comp destr, and north of 400 damage I would expect around $110k, and now I am getting $80k. That is why I am asking. Did the patch break something, or is this a stealth patch to try and force everyone to buy more MC?

Isn't there an error of Salvage not displaying properly?

That would explain lost profits.

If the win was on Conquest and the loss on Assault, it could explain it. Kills and assists give double the rewards on Assault than on Conquest.

Also, if you just got regular kill/assists on the win and Savior kills/assists on the loss, that's a major difference in payout.

Finally, salvage may have been very different.

Salvage is calculated by some unknown algorithm which I don't think PGI has ever shared with us, and it's all but impossible to retroactively calculate it since we don't have enough data on how destroyed the 'mechs were.
