dozen of players have writen accurate guides or how - to's for beginners.
I'm pretty sure that there is actually a guide for each language.
Wouldn't it be a help for new players to have a link - from the start window of the Client - to a non editable topic in the forum - where all those guides are collected.
The MechLab for example is really complex - when you never have seen a BattleTech RuleBook before (or have some xp with Mechwarrior 2 and 3)
The result - you may see in some battles
heat neutral heavy mechs sporting a single large laser and 2 small lasers.
Atlas only armed with 2 LRM 20s...nothing else (not even TAG)
Machinegun and MLAS shots at 1000m....
LRM brawling
last not least it would honor the guys that have made good work
