Fixed, now you have 2.5 tons you can put back into your mech ammo/armor/JJ . :P

ALWAYS use endo first, ferro doesn't save you as much tonnage.

Well I'm still playing around with it at the moment, but just using it on Conquest. I figured the extra 12% armour boost would be more useful while sporting the XL engine and it seems to be paying off. I still find it funny running around with the fast mech's to capture points though, even better if there's 1 or 2 enemy lights there already ;)

Yeah lights are confused when a victor shows up before a light mech. See them scatter!

Somewhat on topic, I'll be painting my Victor soon, probably in Kurita reds.... thus far Sherman & Tiger patterns look nice, but I'd love to see some screenies of your favorite Victor skins!

Just to be clear, you do understand FF doesn't afford any additional protection versus normal armor, right? All it does is lighten it by a percent. In pretty much every situation, Endo-Steel offers more weight savings, which is why people are questioning your decision.

FF does not give you 12% more armor. It gives you 12% more armor PER TON used.

AKA, 1 ton of normal armor provides 32 points of armor. 1 ton of FF provides 35.84 points of armor.

I had a really good time with ac20 + 2ERPPC-s

I've been doing much more damage with other combinations, but this one just removes limbs, weapons, engines...

If you have a DS without an XL400 your wrong! It can still hit hard with lbx10, srm6 srm4, and 2 med lasers. Rolling damage for days.

Damn, I assumed that the description "12% more protection per ton" meant 12% more protection per ton lol. Endo steel all the way from now on. . .

It does. 1 ton of standard armour gives 32 points. 1 ton of ferro-fibrous armour gives 35.84 points. It's just that the maximum amount of armour you can put per section doesn't increase.

What I'd really like to know is when was the last time the Dragon Slayer went on sale, if at all, so I know if I should save up for it or hold out for it. I got my last 2 Victors with MC when they were on sale. I might do the same for the Dragon Slayer and the hero mechs seem to go on sale at some point after their launch.

I'm still working on my Victor. I have most of the stuff, just saving for the engine. (using my cata 3d's engine in the meantime) Considering dropping the AMS for something else. Heat is pretty manageable for me.

My Dragon Slayer. It SLAYS.

On the subject: I'm primarily a medium pilot, and I LOVE Victor. It's my oversized bigarse bully Centurion

Did I mention I have all 4 of them Elited? That's how adorable they are ;)

Ran into that the other day on River City - enemy team had a "scout" Victor. It didn't go well for us since he tied up the team long enough for the rest to arrive.

Did you remove your jump jets? I won't leave home without my maximum. The extra vertical dimension really helps keep you alive. I love sowing confusion in a huge mash up.
