This is a question going out to Devs, or anyone who heard an answer at the event...
If travel in a drop ship takes real time, will we have anything to do while we wait? Realism is cool, but logging in to find out your unit is in the middle of a 20 minute/2 hour/3 day (what ever) drop ship flight and you can not drop for any matches would really suck.
What about if you are garrisoning a planet, but no one is attacking... is there anything to do besides paint your mechs?
What if you are part of a unit, but you log in at a weird time of night and no one else from your unit is online... can you still do matches?
Basically, will I be able to log in a get a match quickly?
P.S. I an *NOT* knocking the ideas presented for CW, I like them. I just have the concerns listed above. =)

Its stated in the presentation that you can have as many contracts as you like. So while waiting for a defense, you can go attack something and so on.

I would assume that there will be a possibility of skirmishes outside of the main CW for the reasons you stated for players that just want to drop in a few matches, or yes that would suck.

1. create alt account
2. get the 25 game bonus for your 10 MM CB
3. Spend this on contracts out on your main acount
4. main account wins these 1-1 duals and prospers
Does PGI even THINK a little about how their mechanics will be exploited? One-to-one duals in F2P with real rewards will not work people.
