I have been playing with this build for a few weeks and I have to say I'm loving it. Basically, this is an Atlas DDC with 2 LB 10-X's, 2 medium lasers and 3 SRM 4's with Artemis. I have a standard 330 engine and 13 double heat sinks. The thing that is interesting about this build is my kill count is usually low, but the damage per match is averaging around 600 - 800. I love softening up targets for my teammates. Thoughts/Opinions?

Back in CB I ran a similar build. I might have to try it again with the LB-X changes.

Run my DDC with twin LB-Xs, one LL, one ML, 3SRM4 (no artemis), and a standard 330. Love that thing, just wrecks house.

My original Atlas DDC Sniper carry's a single LBX10 Scattershot for primary anti-Light defence. It's backed up with an AC2 that fills in while the LBX reloads. It's interesting to see how the Light units will often be taken off guard by the LBX spread, plus of course you get that really re-assuring sound as the thing goes off.

Don't see the point in wasting the tonnage for an extra 5 rating in the engine.
325 Std
2x LBX10 + 4 ammo
3x ASRM6 + 4 ammo
2x ML
ECM
Pretty much my original DDC build. Swapped to a AC20 and upgraded the lasers to LL for awhile, but switched back recently, due to the LBX changes. Hasn't done me wrong.

This build is going to get the atlas nerfed when SRM hit detection is working again.

Here's my variant on this build:
AS7-D-DC
2 LB-10X, 2 L Laser, 3 SRM2
The large lasers help you soften things up before they get in the kill zone, and I used the SRM2s because they have the same short reload time as the LB-10x, so you can really pour out constant damage once you are in short range. Had to drop some armor to get a few more heat sinks to cool off the lasers, but who aims for an Atlas' legs anyway?
