there *aren't* any larger 'Mechs yet.
Fixed.
>100-tonne 'mechs are produced, but waaaaay down the timeline. The earliest 'mech that "worked" came in during 3076 - the 150T Omega. Some of the 'superheavy' chassis canonicity has been questioned, though.

the first super heavy was the Matar - http://www.sarna.net...28BattleMech%29
even the Fafnir was planed at superheavy.
Although no SuperHeavy can ever jump - refering to Final Reckoning and FM 3145 - so smurfy is a typo
nice aprils fools orca picture (used allready twice)

Omega, circa 3076, was the first super-heavy Mech. Even though it was a prototype, thirty Mechs were put into production, compared to none for the Matar. http://www.sarna.net...ega_(BattleMech)

Orca (April fools joke Mech)
Matar (Failed mech design wich could not even move on its own)
Omega aka Gausszilla if I remember correctly (The first IS mech able to mount a Gauss in the Centre torso)
http://www.sarna.net...ga_(BattleMech)
and the Ares 150t three legged Mech with 3 pilots
http://www.sarna.net...es_(BattleMech)
which actually went into production (although the factory was never found) adn had a few variants. This mech agian is well out of the current MWO timeline (3132) and does not have jumpjets either.

Btw, the Ares is 125-135 tons (depending on the variant), not 150 tons. Why are people always claiming it's 150 tons?
Dunno maybe because the Omega is 150tons.
The Ares with 125tons is called Poseidon
