You can toggle it on and off in normal MM, but apparently 12mans will have 3PV disabled?
At my ELO or w/e it is, few people actually use it. The way it's been implemented is fair too, so personally I don't have that much of an issue with it.

i was against 3PV before, but once i saw how it worked in the PTS i saw its was actually quite harmless. if you miss the game its perfectly safe to return

More concern is directed at the UI2.0 and CW.

Imho it should be limited @ 750m view distance like either thermal or night vision, but given that at high level you basically never see it and that it has been eradicated from competitive 12-man premades, imho it's not much of an issue.
The issue is/was how devs reacted ignoring us all about the topic first in the sept. dev update and in the absolutely trolling 3PV rant of Russ, saying that withing 1 week from its introduction everything was fine and everyone was happy with it and that it brought hordes of new players..

You got trolled hard, then. 3PV is not only here to stay, it's the default view mode. Working as Intended™.
But maybe with that out of the way, they can find time to work on the UI and CW they've been yammering about for over a year and still don't have anything but Photoshop mockups of to show us. (Yeah riiiiight...

Exactly my take on the issue. If that's what it takes(introducing 3PV even though nobody wants it) to make you guys work more on UI2.0 and CW, then whatever. It serves its purpose well(showing player the torso in relation to the legs) and no one in their right mind will use it in combat.

You have access to it as well.... therefore its not an unfair advantage.
You may not like it, you may not like what it lets enemies do, however it is in no way an unfair advantage. its like saying "the enemy used the zoom feature and i don't like it and refuse to use it therefore the enemy had an unfair advantage."
3rd person is next to useless in actually combat, people argue about seeing around corners and {Scrap} but I have yet to see it actually used in game to that effect.... If someone can good for them!

No, not good for them, that's called exploitation and is against the rules. No different than suicide farming. The fact that you say that says a lot in general. Unfair advantage? Ok, I can concede that, it's not an unfair advantage. If you haven't seen it used like that then that's on you. There are a couple of screenshots taken of it being used as an exploit.
