Any Mech with lower arm actuators is a knuckledragger. The point of fire for arm mounted weapons is almost at the mech's knees it seems like.
Would it be possible to change the arm lock toggle to raise the firing point of mechs with lower arm actuators to the same point as mechs without lower arm actuators?
This would give a big boost to the utility of mechs with lower arm actuators as it would enable them to take advantage of both the high firing points of mechs like the jagger and stalker, while still allowing them to toggle back to more lateral freedom.
It makes no sense that they have to fire their weapons from the hip, when they are perfectly capable of holding their arms up and firing over obstacles.

No one thinks Knuckle ragging is a problem?

It's just been suggested so many times that there's nothing new to say. It would be nice to have the option but it's clearly not going to be a priority for PGI to work on.

Oh the agony.

No. The very idea is that you need to choose: Have good arm movement for easy aim, or be able to safely peek over obstacles. If you could toggle that with arm lock, many mechs without articulated arms would become obsolete.
