Through Armor Critical hits.
If need be, restrict this to shots that hit the rear torso only.
*I just want to be able to sneak behind an enemy with 3x LBX and dakka them into an empty shell in one shot, or at least remove all of their internal weapons before they can turn around, because if his teammates turn around with him then it's firing squad time....*

Sort of like quantum torpedoes in solid lead form? I like it lets do it like a boss!.. or not

Only if you bring AP ammo and only on standard Autocannons.

So many builds have paper-thin back armor, this makes virtually no difference for mechs with high firepower. So no, you'r 4xMG Spider or LB-X Raven should not kill an Atlas in under 20s.

This might be crazy. Totally nuts. But why not tweak existing variables like spread, duration, cool down, heat, etc. and just balance the weapons properly?
