I've done a forum search and couldn't see a thread with this idea, so hopefully this is something newish.
Can MWO introduce a Mech Mastery achievement by chassis with some sort of GXP or cbill award associated with it, and/or potentially a title?
Given the time involved to master a variant, this would be a great recognition and also encouragement for players. Might also incentivise players to buy more variants of a chassis in order to master, so good for PGI too in mechbay or mech purchases.
Given most players have a 'favourite' mech or possibly a few, they could display their 'Atlas Master', 'Timberwolf Master' or 'Firestarter Master' as their title in game and also get their GXP award as a perk when Mastering the chassis.
Would love to see associated Steam Trading cards too for these unlocks with great concept art, but that's a secondary to the main idea.
Thoughts?

Unsure if bumping is allowed, but want to get some feedback on this idea before it gets buried

Well, personally, I have never been fond of that whole "achievement" thingy. For me, achieving something in a game (as in life) is it´s own reward.
Like that time when I got my first 3-kills-in-one-match game, or when I got 500+ damage for the first time?
Boy did that feel great.
I don´t need an official "achievement" thingy to _tell_ me that.
I don´t know, perhaps I´m too old or something, but those "achievements" games nowadays have are just kinda stupid to me.
Note:
Can´t vote, because I can´t just say NO to the first question (have to answer them all) and the others are missing the "I don´t like the whole thing" option.

You should be able to submit your vote of no for the first question without answering the others, at least that's my experience for other forum polls on here.

Must be Variant, I don't care about any other Centurian or Raven besides the Yen Lo Wang or Huggin.

Yes, good idea, especially abou the titles.
We work hard to master our mechs. By the time w get them mastered, we know the chassis intimately (especially since we have to really master THREE of them!). So yeah... Title by chassis, even just the name of the chassis + "Master" would be a great title.
Sick of walking around as "Bad Company" and "Bridesmaid" lol
