Epic does not adequately describe this.

If it is a Cat then would not it be "The Fuzz"? Please don't kill me.

oooooff!
though if one put Flamers in the arms, that would mandate calling it "Hot Fuzz"?

For an alternative paint scheme, I'd put the missile launchers as a pair of 4-tube launchers on each Torso, then give it a kind-of-like-the-Misery paint; the way you've configured the missiles makes it look like it would be a nasty grin...

So your pairing would would then be "Misery" and "The Clown"?

3 EN per arm,
2 M per side torso with up to 8 tubes.
2 B in CT.
I imagine 6 ML in the arms,
a SRM 4 or 6 in each side torso,
and 2 machine guns in ct.
increase the engine cap to make it dragon fast, and remove the JJ
Give it some cool winglets and a bird of prey paintjob.
I would buy it

What do i mean by hardcore? my k2 sports 2ppcs and an ac20; my c4 packs 4x lrm 15; they got the damage down, but speed is lacking (60 tops). I also long for a cat with good short-range capabilities in addition to their long range support. I like the Idea of an asymmetric chassis.
So a half K2 half C4 with good speed and short-range weapons. in a good balanced chassis i could go without jumpjets.

I've changed my playstyle somwehat and learned to love the K2. Dual Dakka larger than AC2 and MG's are fun =D
A K2/C4 or K2/C1 hybrid would be awesome. Either 2B 2E 2M or 4E 2B but with no ballistics in the centre. =)

I don't know about you, but the Jester is my go-to mech for me. With dual PPCs and dual LL, running 80+kph, plus jump capability to navigate canyon network with ease, its by far the most effective balance of firepower and mobility for my play-style. I love my SHDs and my Ilya too, but my Jester tops them all for me.

for some of us, pure energy boats are kinda boring. Hence, a letdown. Had it a pair of ballistic or missile points in place of a pair of energy, I would probably be a fan. My "dream" layout would be 2x Energy (arms) and 2x Missile, 2x Ballistics, (Side Torsos). But that is why mech piloting is subjected. A mech I hate is someone elses dream mech.

A mech doesn't have to "be bad" to be a "letdown". (Or "overrated"). It just has to be less than one hoped for.

My only let down with the Jester is that it is not a Timber Wolf with jump jets.
