So some Games I have heard of have Release parties when New Content hits the game.
I thought that would be cool and appropriate for this major release of Mechs.
A year ago, If anyone had said ANY of these Beauties was going to be in the game they would have been ridiculed. (I Think I recall reading some of those thread.)
We are now Post Launch. Beta is History.
PGI and a few hundred invitees had an AWESOME time in SF. \
I think it is time to bring the party worldwide with a Phoenix versus The World Tourney.
I think loading up with Shiny New Toys, with that fresh out of the factory Armour and taking them out for a spin for prizes, comraderie, and just for the fun of it, is just the tonic for a cool October.

So if we can make this happen, its got to happen now, (after all if you are going to take that Tuesday off, you got to let the boss know soon, amirite?)
I mean, you got to patch and then check out the new hardware, the new swag, maybe slap a Phranken paint job on the Thud and test drive it.
But then what? Wait for CW? Naa, you want to go forth, conquer foes, and collect booty.
The Tourney is the thing.
If you have not purchased your pack, It is not too late.

Heck maybe they could get creative and offer prize to best screenshot of New mechs.

I agree, PGI had a pretty swell party in SF, But they are all rested up and should be ready to celebrate the biggest release of Mechs since the Founders Program. A tourney is just the thing to level the field between Vets and first timers. No one will have these mastered right out of the box. Locusts will be swarming everywhere, especially with the new speed levels coming out that day.
Battlemasters will take the field for the first time since Mechwarrior 2. Freaking BattleMasters!! I love it!!
Shadowhawks looking to carve a path between both.
Thunderbolts, oh man where to start, It will be a Mech to reckon with! I know personally I will see a precursor to the Clan Summoner.

Vassago, thanks for posting, if this tourney happens I know i will see your name in the top ranks. Question everyone wants to know is....In which Mech? Time will tell. Unless you want to tell us now. lol
