I'm not sure how to explain this... but the explosions on my screen are making me not want to play this anymore. If i get hit i expect there to be some type of display but i shouldn't be blinded by it. regardless of what kind of weapon shot me. If i get hit at all i've got so much 'fluff' explosions crossing my screen I can't return fire and I can't get away before I'm cored. At one time it was so bad with how much your mech got rocked when you got hit that the developer actually admitted he never intended it to be that bad. This is another of those points that NEEDS to be addressed. If i get shot in the cockpit then fine make it so i can't see, but if i get shot in the foot i shouldn't have my cockpit screen light up like the newest casino in vegas.

PS this is made worse when in Night Vision or Heat Vision mode!!

I'm sure all those leg shots also magically hit -- and shake -- the cockpit.

Yeah, I agree. There's no way an AC2 or Streak 2 should shake my entire mech so bad that I can't see. I thought I heard they were turning down the cockpit shake some, but I haven't seen any evidence of it yet.
