I just wanted to post so I could give the devs a little insight to what I am experiencing and probably others like me That LOVE Mechwarrior / BT Universe and yes MWO.

I dont feel like a real Mechwarrior. When I can have 30+ mechs ( havent bought new one in a few months do to lack a play ) I feel like somethings wrong. I dont feel like my mechs are prized valuable possessions. Kind of like there isnt a challenge. A good night and I can buy a mech and fully outfit it w/ out premium time excluding assaults. ( still got all my founders time )

I did make another account and started from trial mechs. The goal to get my own mech and get started was nice I did feel like I had something to strive for. But then after I get a couple in the mech bay I got the same feeling again.

I almost feel like we should make less money and have a more expansive pilot tree so that we will want to pick a mech and really put some time into it. In other FTP styles of games it takes a good few weeks to get a new character in your roster if you are playing a lot.

I love MWO and have had a lot of fun playing but its kinda got that play a game with using cheat codes feel super fun at first but then slowly loses its flare because you got it all. New mechs are like eh its only slightly different and I dont feel like Im missing much not having them.

But I have to end with saying thank you PGI/IGP for your hard work I know this is a huge undertaking and risk financially. I too want MWO around for years to come and turn into a "sport" like league of legends managed to achieve.

*forgot to add Give players a choice of mechs to HAVE 1 for their first mech like it was originally supposed to.
Also referring to the more expansive pilot tree have it a lot larger but focused on one mech not buying 3 ( if we make less money that is ) This would encourage people to buy premium time for the outfitting and "lvling" of their mech instead of just buying new ones *
