Mwo's hitscan reg is so bad you can hypothesize that the first few seconds of contact damage are mysteriously dropped.

This would explain why chain fire seems more effective then group fire.

With chain fire, it is my hypothesis that the first hit wake HSR to pay attention to you. Tho the first hit will suffer from dropped damage, the subsequent later chain hits will do full damage due to HSR being calibrated server end after the first hit.

With group fire, the first few seconds of all your grouped weapons are ignored while the server is calibrating. Thus this leads to less damage due to all your weapons first few seconds now counting.

It is my hypothesis, that more damage can be done with the use of a buffer weapon, then following it up with your main grouped weapons. Fire one seperate medium laser for the server to calibrate, then follow up afterwards with the main group to have the group do full damage.

Always fire as the first weapon
-------------------------------------
AC 2
AC 5
Small laser
Medium laser
Small laser
machine gun

always fire it as the second weapon
--------------------------------------------
Medium Pulse
Large laser
Large pulse
PPC
AC 10
AC 20
Gauss Rifle

Can you (or anyone else for that matter) link video evidence?
